报告摘要:In this talk, we discuss our recent work on multi-parameter Hoeffding inequalities for the summation of atomic functions possessing suitable almost-orthogonality via introducing a new square function and by constructing an iterative algorithm on the scales of this new square function. The main result yields new multi-parameter Hoeffding inequalities and generalizes those for dyadic martingales. Moreover, we obtain several equivalent characterizations of Hoeffding inequalities, providing the missing bi-parameter and multi-parameter theory for the classical Chang-Wilson-Wolff theorem and sharp square function estimates in higher dimensions. We will also discuss some recent applications. This is a joint work with Ji Li and Jill Pipher.
报告人简介:吴良川,安徽大学副教授,2017年博士毕业于中山大学,导师是颜立新教授,后续分别在北京国际数学中心、中山大学、澳大利亚麦考瑞大学做博士后,2021年至今任职于安徽大学。先后主持中国博士后基金、广东省联合基金、安徽省自然科学基金青年项目及国家自然科学基金青年项目。主要从事调和分析领域研究,相关论文发表于IMRN,JFA (8篇),与JGA等国际知名杂志。
